It's cold out there!

We've had a chilly week here...when is spring going to arrive??

Sunday night I was pretty hyper when I got to mommy's house so we played for a bit and then headed over to Tony's for dinner. I had two friends there (Liz and Pierce) to play car game with and I brought some of my cars to play with too. I had such a fun evening. And lots of good food again...ribs, roast pork and portuguese bun. I ate a lot!

Yesterday morning was off to school with mommy and was it ever cold waiting for the bus. My face was freezing...even though I was wearing my scarf. School was fun...yet again. I got to go to the office with Finn (she picked me) and we started making our Fairy Tale book. Our book is going to be so nice! Our first page is Hickory, Dickory, Dock. Since it was so cold yesterday we didn't go out again in the afternoon. We just stayed home and I did some homework. I practised writing my name and working on my letter sounds. I'm doing very good! We had quite a lot of time to play too.

Today at school we made pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. How exciting! I ate two of them and they sure were yummy. We worked on our fairy tale books a bit more too. Just another good day. When I got home I was all full of pancakes so I didn't really want lunch so instead I cuddled up with mommy and we watched almost all of Madagascar. Then it was off to swimming. It sure was cold walking there. But it was worth it. I had a blast! We didn't use the table at all. First we went in the stairs and then we walked down to the deep end and jumped in down there and held onto the wall for our whole lesson. I was doing great back floats with my ears IN the water and having so much fun. After swimming we hung out in the lobby and I shared my snack with Amanda, Jessica and Shyauna and then it was off for the cold walk home. Brr!

Now I'm off to watch the end of Madagascar. I think tonight Tony is coming over for dinner and to bring a few of my cars that I forgot on Sunday.

Is spring time coming soon?

What a wild and crazy weekend! It started out Friday night when Daddy and Sylvie and Clark picked me up and we went to Aunt Glenda's. I was so surprised to see Grandma there. It was nice. We had a nice visit, I played with Josh and Auntie Trish. We had some yummy pizza for dinner and then we headed for home with Smudge in tow. We get to keep him for the whole month. He's one FUZZY cat. When we got home, I went to bed good. While I was asleep on Friday, there was a big earthquake at our house. It was just across the river, and it was a 4.5 on the richter scale. It sure made the house shake a lot! Well, okay, I didn't feel it. I was asleep, but I heard about it the next day.

Saturday was another busy day. We woke up early and played for a long time. After lunch we got packed up and headed to Alex's birthday party. Jordan had a birthday party too. Daddy and Sylvie dropped me off at the birthday party. There sure were a lot of kids there. No parents though, all the other kids got dropped off too. It was fun that way, all us kids had so much fun. There was a clown who could do magic. He made us balloon animals and even turned a balloon animal into a live rabbit that we all got to pet. It sure was fun. Daddy picked me up at 5 o'clock and we headed for home again. We stopped at the space station to get some supplies then landed at our moonbase after we picked up Jordan. We had a good dinner and then got a special treat. I got to stay up a little late and watch Curious George. It was cute. After that I went to bed good.

I slept in late on Sunday morning. Sylvie got me up around 8:00. I was a happy kid. I drank my juice like a super kid. Not too much later, Zach and Grace came over to visit. I was having so much fun playing with them. We all have to much fun together. I didn't even want to go back to Mommy's house. I was pretty happy to see Mommy though.

It'll be back to Daddy's on Wednesday. Should be pretty good!

Nice weather!

We're having a fun week and enjoying the warmer weather. My evening with Tony was a lot of fun. I ended up going to bed by 7:45pm and before that we just had lots of fun playing. I asked mommy if Tony could babysit me every night. Then yesterday when I woke up Tony was still here. He slept over...so silly! It was fun to wake him up. Then it was off to school. Madam Anna was back for French and at craft time we made a Three Bears craft. That was fun!

In the afternoon mommy and I headed to a craft workshop at big playgroup. It was on paper bags. We read the Paper Bag Princess and then I got to decorate my very own paper bag shirt. It's pretty silly. You can't really wear it out. I made a paper bag octopus, a paper treat bag and a paper bag maracca. I had a whole lot of goodies to bring home. And Julie put a surprise in our treat bags...easter egg chocolates and smarties. I'm so lucky! We got home just in time for daddy to come pick me up and spend the evening with him.

This morning was I was back bright and early to help mommy empty out the closet before school. The men were coming to replace our hot water tank first thing so we had to make room around it. Boy there's a lot of junk in there. Then I had the BEST day at school. I was special friend today and I just love it! I got to be Mrs Hamilton's special helper during circle and I got to bring show and tell. Today I brought my work goggles, a paint gun, a saw and a hammer. Just some of my tools. And I got to bring the attendance to the office and hold Mrs Hamilton's hand on the walk out to the bus. Boy I'm so lucky!

This afternoon we headed back over to big playgroup for actual playgroup this time. Their were lots of kids there and most of the same toys from last Thursday but I had a lot of fun. I decorated a skate to hang on our window instead of the valentine hearts. Then when we got home we walked to Elmvale to get some money to order in dinner. Except we didn't order KFC because mommy called to order it and she was on the phone for a long time and got really frustrated so she said not to bother. No wonder why we haven't ordered KFC in two years. So instead we had pasta...oh well.

Tomorrow will be another good day. It's spirit day at Vincent Massey and my class it singing a song in the assembly. So mommy and me are going to walk to school with my wagon and mom is going to stay for the assembly. Maybe she'll get to stay the whole morning to volunteer a second day this week and then just walk home with me after school. That would be fun!

Fun days

Last night mommy and I had some fun playing. We were playing soccer in the hallway and boy am I good. I need to get outside this summer and get practising. I had a great sleep and didn't wake up all night...same with Sunday night. I must be tuckered out when I go to bed.

This morning I was up bright and early at 6am though. I didn't even wait for the alarm to wake me up. I had another good day at school . We had a supply teacher for french since Madam Anna was not feeling well. At craft time I made a put numbers on teddy bears. Then on the bus ride home I sat with Shyauna. She sure is nice.

Oh and I rediscovered my Tonka Garage game on the computer so I've been playing that whenever mommy lets me. I'm addicted! This afternoon was my swimming lesson. And we had nice weather for it. Melissa was away so we had a man instructor and he sure was fun. I didn't get my badge though so I'm back into another session of level 2 starting next week.

Tonight mommy is off to a meeting at CHEO for First Words. She has to attend before I can start my sessions so Tony is coming over for dinner (spring rolls and rice...yum) and then he'll hang out with me until mommy gets back. Hopefully it won't take too long since I know I'll want to stay up late with Tony.

It's Monday

We're having a good start to our week. Yesterday afternoon Sylvie dropped me off at home. I brought with me some Easter chocolate leftover from LAST year. It tastes a little crunchy but it's still good. I wolfed down a couple of eggs right away. Then we attempted to go skating at the park but the rink there's are not good at all so we just walked back home, did some laundry and then Tony came by to drop off my aspirin. He stayed to play and we had dinner...everything I like...chicken nuggets, chicken noodles and salad. Yum!

This morning was back to school. We have a display out in the hall that our class made to show the Olympics and we're keeping track of all the medals that Canada has won. We've won a lot! I showed Mrs Hamilton a cool trick that I'm going to do when I start snowboarding. What else...Alex was special friend and he chose me to go to the office with him. It's "germ week" in our class. I don't like germs. So we read a few stories on it and for craft today I had to colour a picture with germs. Yucky!

This afternoon we've just been having fun playing. I discovered all the old toys in my toybox and found a whole bunch of cool cars and trucks in there that I forgot I had. And I got out my Lincoln Logs train set. Fun! We took a walk over to Loeb to get some groceries and this week we bought a little less so the wagon wouldn't be overflowing. But I decided to walk ALL the way home by myself. Good exercise!

There's not much going on tonight. Just going to play and have some dinner.

Will winter ever end?

Holy Moly. What a wild weekend.

Daddy picked me up by himself on Friday afternoon. The weather was really really yucky out. It was warm in the morning but it turned really cold in the afternoon. I was a little disappointed when Clark and Sylvie weren't there to pick me up too. Daddy and I ran around and did a couple of things. We stopped at Costco to pick up some stuff then we had to go to Superstore to get my prescription for medicine filled. I do NOT like taking my medicine at all! Once I got home, I played with Jordan and then went to bed. By the way, did I mention that Jordan and I got BUNK BEDS?!? Daddy had them for us on Wednesday as a big surprise! It's very exciting.

Saturday morning we were all up early, except for Daddy. He got to sleep in. I had some nice orange juice and took my Aspirin good. Jordan left in the morning to go to Ju-Jitsu. Daddy and Clark and I played for a while, then after lunch we all got ready and headed out to go to a birthday party. The birthday party was WAY out by the trailer. I had so much fun! Grace and Zach were there, and another girl, her name was Harley. We all played so much together. By the time we left there, it was very late. I slept in the van and Daddy carried me to my bed.

I slept in late on sunday morning. I think it was after 8 before I crawled out of bed. I had a really good morning though. I didn't really want to drink my orange juice, but I took my aspirin good. After that, Daddy let me play Simpsons game on PS2 for quite a while. I had fun driving around and crashing my car. Sylvie had a bunch of running around to do in town, so she was nice and took me home. We had a really nice chat in the car.

Still busy!

I'm still having busy and fun days with mommy. This morning daddy dropped me off bright and early with some chocolate bars and gum from Vida for us. Yum! Those are good treats. I like to chew gum and sing the bubble gum song but I always end up swallowing it...even though mommy tells me not to.

I brought my Spiderman backpack to school today since I left my school backpack in my cubby yesterday. Silly me. I had a good morning though. Today is Alex's birthday so we sang Bonne Fete and his mom was there for the morning to volunteer. I also did some painting during craft time with orange paint and had a good morning. Oh and Mrs Hamilton is giving out medals at school...hope it's my turn to get one soon.

This afternoon we went back out in the cold to go to big playgroup. Their wasn't very many kids there so I had a blast playing with the cash register, fishing in the water table and painting and constructing the big house. It went by really fast. On the way home we took the bus right by our house and all the way to St Laurent mall. We were trying to get my prescription filled at Shoppers since PharmaPlus didn't have any in stock but neither did Shoppers. Grr! Mommy's called around and found out that Loblaws Vanier has some so we'll have to get there soon so that I can start it soon. Yes I have to take medicine again...yuck. I saw the rheumatologist at CHEO yesterday for 3 hours. I don't know what it means but my SED rate is still high so I'm back on aspirin and another medicine to help my aches and pains. Now if only we could get the stuff.

So since we were at the mall I got a cone from DQ...yum! And had a quick peek in Toys R Us before catching the bus to come back home. I'm pretty tuckered tonight...it's been another busy day. I'm just waiting for my St Hubert dinner to arrive...should be so good!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is a day for love. I am having so much fun!! I've decided the mommy is my Valentine!

But first more about our week...it's been fun filled yet again. Sunday night when I got home to mommy's we played for a short bit and then Tony came to pick us up and we headed down to Snowflake Kingdom again. It wasn't very busy and this time mommy wore her snowpants so we all had a blast sliding together. I went down some of the single slides with mommy and boy did we ever go fast. And we went down a bunch of times all three of us together. We always ended up crashing into each other. We went down the tube slide too. We just had a couple of hours of good fun and lots of laughs. We stopped for a break to warm up in the tent and eat Beavertails too. Boy do I ever love those! I ended up getting to bed a little bit late since we were at the ice slides for so long...but that's okay.

Yesterday was mommy's day to come to school. I always have good days at school and yesterday was another good one. I brought Shyauna's birthday gift to her. I made a Valentine for mommy...it's beautiful and hanging on our door now. I also worked on my numbers with mommy for awhile. And Madam Anna brought her brother in for friend...that was neat. After lunch we were out again for a walk over to finally mail Emma's birthday/valentine gift and go to the library. I hadn't been to pick out new books in ages so we were there for quite awhile reading stories. I picked out some great ones. We went home for a bit and then we bundled up again and walked over to Loeb for groceries. We ended up buying way to much good food so the wagon was a little crowded on the way home. By the time we got home it was time to start dinner and Tony came over for dinner...yummy chicken quasadillas and Caesar salad. I didn't much like the quasadillas but I ate some salad and a whole package of blueberries.

Now to today...Valentine's Day! This morning when I woke up mommy had a nice surprise for me. A nice bag with a Clifford valentine book, a cute little valentine elephant and a big Valentine heart with a train on the front and chocolates inside. Wow I'm lucky! Then it was off to school. I gave out all my Spongebob valentine's with heart suckers to everyone in my class...even Mrs Hamilton. And I got a whole bunch of valentine's from all my friends. I decorated a paper bag and I'm going to keep my valentine's safe in there forever. We had a few snacks too...cupcakes and cookies. Yum! What a great day!

This afternoon we're off to swimming lessons. Should be fun!

Winterlude Wonderland

Holy Moly! What a crazy fun weekend at Daddy's house!

Daddy picked me up at our regular time and we headed for home. We spent about half an hour at home before GP and Bobutė called for us to go and meet them at Nate's for dinner. So we piled back in the van and headed for town. I was very happy to see GP and Bobutė again so soon. We had a yummy dinner at Nate's and then went to Winterlude. We went to Confederation Park to see the ice sculptures. There weren't very many, maybe because of all the rain. We got home late and I went to bed good.

Saturday morning we were up bright and early to head to Winterlude again! This time we went to the Snowflake Kingdom at Jacques Cartier park. We rode the snobus there. It was pretty fun! The slides were so fast. We went down the group slides a bunch of times and rode the tube slide too. Daddy goes really fast in his snow pants, and I was always holding on to him, so I kinda got dragged along. GP didn't bring his snow pants, but Bobutė did. She came down with us a bunch of times too. We went through the ice maze and then it was time to keep going. We all went back to the car and then Sylvie and Jordan and Clark headed for home and Daddy, Me, GP and Bobutė kept going. We went for lunch and then we went skating. I got my skates on but didn't really feel like skating, so I rode to 5th avenue in Clark's big stroller. That was really fun!! When we got to fifth avenue, GP and Bobutė kept skating for a bit and Daddy and I looked around. There was some neat stuff there! When GP and Bobutė were done skating, we went on a treasure hunt with GP's GPS. We found a treasure at the fire station right near the canal. There was a big bucket hanging in the tree. GP left some hand warmers in the treasure bucket and I got to bring home some jumbo playing cards. It was so much fun. When we were done there we caught the snobus back to the car and then headed for home. I had a good supper and went to bed good again. I was pooped from my big day!

Sunday morning when I got up, we had GP's famous waffles for breakfast then headed out to Canadian Tire. GP wanted some camouflage tape for the treasure he has hidden in Toronto. I found it for him! We picked up a few things then went and picked up Jordan. When we got home, we got all bundled up again and headed out on another treasure hunt. This time it was right close by in Rockland. We trudged down a snowmobile path then Sylvie helped me climb up a mountain and Jordan and GP had found the treasure in a tree. This time we left some nail clippers that we bought from Canadian Tire and I got a little dinosaur and Jordan got a cool marble. We even took a cool picture of all of us with the treasure. Look at Daddy with Clark in the backpack. Lucky Clark. It was back home for some lunch after that, then it was time to head off to Mommy's. I was so pooped that I fell asleep in the van.

Wow, that was a CRAZY weekend. I wonder what we'll do next weekend.

Great day!!

What a great couple of days I have had!

Yesterday morning was another great one at school. I came home with lots of stuff in my backpack. Vincent Massey now has a sister school. I told mommy the school was in "Chicken Land" but it is actually in Turkey. Mommy thought that was so silly. So I brought a loonie today so that we can send pencils and stickers to the students at that school. In the afternoon we took a walk over to Giant Tiger (even though it was cold). We bought Emma's birthday gifts, a gift for Shyauna (even though I can't go to her party on Saturday) and some snacks. It was pretty successful. By the time we got home we had just started wrapping the presents and daddy was here to get me.

This morning I was in somewhat of a grump when I got to mommy's house but quickly snapped out of it. Tavyn came down to our apartment early and we brought him out to wait for the bus with us. I had another good day at school. I made a Tyranasaurus Rex headband and I sure scared mommy good with it. And Jordan gave me a gift...twenty five cents! Boy I'm lucky! Today I also got an invitation to Alex's birthday...I must be popular. I hope daddy let's me go to that one.

And now we just got back from the BEST afternoon ever! I hurried to have some lunch after school and by noon we were out catching the bus to the Children's Museum. I had such a blast playing there. Their were hardly any other kids so I just got to play a long time with everything. And I made a nice picture for the window that's a bridge with a canoe and someone fishing. It's really nice. We stayed there for a couple of hours and then walked down to Snowflake Kingdom and the ice slides!! Mommy didn't bring her snowpants so she wasn't too successful at sliding down. The slides are pretty bumpy and not too fast but I went down a couple of times and thought it was really cool. Then we went on a sleigh ride. That was cool! I can't remember the last time I went on one. And to top it off we had a BeaverTail...YUM...my favorite! Winterlude is the best! By the time we left we were both freezing...it's not so warm out today...like -19 with the windchill. So mommy said we could come back next week and maybe it would be a little warmer and she'd wear her snowpants and we could slide even more. Five and a half hours later we're back home...what a great afternoon!

Tomorrow is a PD Day so I'm off school! We're going to go to playgroup in the morning to have more fun.

Cold winter week

It's back to being winter this week and is it ever cold. But mommy and I have been having a fun week together.

Sunday afternoon as soon as I got home to mommy's I wanted to go biking in the community hall. So we did that for a bit and then Tony came to pick us up for dinner at his house. Liz was there (she's 11) and we had a great time playing together. We played car game on PS2 and had a big pillow fight. I even pulled her pants down because she had trucker butt. It was pretty funny! Dinner was great...I ate a huge piece of BBQ pork, a lot of salad and a few french fries. I think my tastes are finally changing and I like to try new foods. Before we went home I was slidding down my bum on the stairs so then I got Tony to slide down with me and Liz and her mom to slide down too. It was so hilarious! We all had wedgies.

Yesterday was up bright and early to go out in the freezing cold and wait for the bus with mommy. We had a good day at school together. Alex's mom was there to volunteer too. We're starting our unit on dinosaurs so that's pretty exciting. And we keep practicing our reading every day. I'm getting so good at it. I'm also getting really good at recognising my numbers and can do them all from 1-10 except I have a hard time with 7 and 8. Sometimes I get them confused. My extra work on it with mommy is sure paying off. I got to bring home my book for the week and it is "I Can Read". And I can actually read most of the book. Wow for me! Just by picking out the first letters of the words and knowing what sounds they make. I sure am smart. Yesterday afternoon was spent playing at home, going biking in the community hall and then Tony came over for dinner. He brought some instant mashed potatoes (since mommy still can't eat much) and we had corn and hot dogs. My favorites!

Today was another busy day. I had another good day at school. In French we were singing "Allouette" so I came home singing that and practicing all of my body parts in French. This afternoon was off to swimming lessons. It was a pretty cold walk...I had to wear my scarf around my face to keep warm. But it was parents day so mommy got to swim too! She was the only mom in the pool. I got to show off to her and my instructor with the best lesson EVER! I was doing back floats WITH my ears in the water (I realised I'm not sinking if I stick my ears in) and putting my face in the water a lot. Wonder if I'm going to earn my badge this time.

Whew...what an update. That's all for now.

Another Weekend...

Back from another weekend at Daddy's. What did we do this weekend?? I'm not really sure. Oh yeah. I remember now.

Friday afternoon, Daddy picked me up and we were off to Costco. We had fun at Costco. Don't we always? After that, we had to drop Jordan off at his Daddy's and then it was home. Daddy read me and Clark some stories and it was off to bed.

Saturday morning, Daddy and Clark and I got to spend the morning and part of the afternoon together. Once Sylvie got home, we all got busy packing ourselves up and Clark and I went for a sleepover at Aunt Glenda's house. I had so much fun!!

When Daddy and Sylvie came to pick us up on Sunday morning I was having so much fun being the train driver in the basement. Uncle Richard has cool trains and he was letting me drive!! It was so much fun. We had McDonalds for lunch and then we went to the Experimental Farm. I haven't been there in a long time! The little calves were so cute. There were even a bunch of little wee baby cows over in the nursing ward. The sheep were really friendly too. Not long after we finished there it was time to head back to Mommy's. She sure was happy to see me.

It'll be back to Daddy's on Wednesday and then GP and Vida are coming to visit next weekend and we are going to go to Winterlude!!

It's Friday!

It's Friday and it's pouring rain outside. What way to kick off Winterlude.

Mommy and I are having a pretty quiet week. Daddy dropped me off early yesterday morning and mommy was feeling much better. No more sick tummy only she's pretty tired and still can't eat. So silly. I had a good day at school yesterday though. I was pretty excited that it was Groundhog Day. I learned about Wiarton Willy and learned that he didn't see his shadow so spring would be coming soon. I'm not too excited about that...I like the snow and winter. But I made a cool groundhog craft that I got to bring home to show mommy. Yesterday afternoon was pretty quiet. We just hung around home playing with all my toys and watching tv. Oh and we started to grow my snowman. Boy is it ever cool! This morning my snowman was all snowy. How cool is that?? I hope he lasts awhile and doesn't melt.

Well I guess that's all for now. I'm off to school. Then tonight it's off to daddy's for the weekend.

Bonus time with Daddy!

It's Wednesday and I got to spend extra time with Daddy today! Yay!

This morning I got up and went off to school, and when I got home, Tony was waiting to get me off the bus. When I got upstairs, it seemed like Mommy was really sick. I guess the medicine they gave her for her mouth wasn't too good after all. Mommy called Daddy and asked if he could come and get me. He said yes! Daddy got there around noon and off we went. I was quite insistent that I wanted to take my wagon with me, but Daddy convinced me there was no point. Off we went to the Train Museum. We had so much fun. It was a beautiful day to start with. It was sunny and warm for our walk over there. When we got there, there were hardly any people there. It was so nice. We did so much stuff. I got to drive the car a couple of times, and ride the snowmobile twice in a row. I don't really like the new Light exhibit though. It's scary in there. We got to play lots of 4 Wheeler game too. Sylvie came and picked us up about 2:30 and we went to St. Laurent for a bit. Daddy and Clark and I walked around Toys R Us while Sylvie was off doing whatever she was doing. After that it was time to head to Daddy's house. We headed on the highway to Rockland. We stopped at Independent's to get some formula and Sylvie bought us chicken for dinner. Yummy!! I got to play some more PlayStation and then Daddy and Clark and I played together, read a story, then off to bed for both of us.

It'll be back to Mommy's again tomorrow morning. I hope she's feeling better. Then back to Daddy's again on Friday! Yay!! Bye for now!

Busy day

I had a pretty busy day yesterday. Mommy got me on the bus to school and it was actually a nice day. I had a great morning at school. I made a craft, played and listened to some friends show and tell. Then I got homework! Each Monday (this week Tuesday) Mrs Hamilton is sending home a book for me to read with mommy and then we return it on Thursday. This week my book is about Bugs. It's a pretty short read and the middle of the book is upside down...silly. My Scholastic book order also came in and I had 5 new books to read last night. Two Valentine one's (The Valentine Express and The Biggest Valentine Ever), Stone Soup, Stella Queen of the Snow and When Will It Snow. They are all very good! And the snow book came with a snowman making kit...we're going to try it out this afternoon.

After school mommy and Tony were both there to pick me up. Mommy had funny gauze in her mouth so when we got upstairs she got me a snack and then had to take care of her mouth so Tony and I played for about one hour with my cars. Then we all headed out to Loblaws to pick up mommy's pills and I had a slice of pizza for lunch. Mommy looked so silly because she kept spilling her soup all over her chin. From there it was off to my swimming lesson. This week all 5 of us were there and we had a great time together. I was putting my face in without choking on the water. After swimming we got to go have a treat...Dairy Queen! Yummy! I am so lucky. I ate a whole small dipped cone by myself! After that Tony dropped us off and we had a quiet evening. Mommy iced her face a lot and we read all my new stories.

I'm off to school this morning. Then tonight it's off to daddy's house.
