My baby brothers

Clark and Owen are both really good baby brothers. Owen is nice because he is still little and doesn't bother me. Clark is nice to because he can play games with me and do fun stuff. Clark doesn't sleep in a crib so he talks to me during the night. He always wants the door closed and that annoys me because if someone breaks in then daddy can't hear us. Clark and Owen are like mommy, Tony, daddy, Sylvie, Jordan and me.

March madness

Today was March madness. We played a lot of games. In the gym we played scooting races where we had to scoot on our bums with these little carts to go get a ball and bring it back. In Ms Pepin's class we danced. First we did freeze dance and second we did just regular dancing. We did some art and musical chairs in Madame's room. We made an icy picture and we had to spread water and baking soda over the picture to get a frosty colour. We had beaver tails and water at the kitchen. It tasted like bread with cinnamon on it. In Ms Beaupre's class we did some limboing. The best person in our group was Ivan's sister. The teachers were Ms Beaupre, Mrs Baldwin, Madame, Ms Kiskis and Ms Pepin. That is all from me.

The report card

On the report card I got in English on reading A-, writing B+ and oral and visual communication B+. In French on oral communication C+, reading C+ and writing B. In Math for Number Sense and Numeration A, measurement B, geometry and Spatial Sense B, and data management and probability B+. In science and technology I got a B+, social studies B-, health and physical education C, music B- and drama and dance B.

Independent work good, initiative good, homework completion good, use of information excellent, cooperation with others excellent, conflict resolution good, class participation excellent, problem solving good and goal setting to improve work good.

School

Today we just started building a car. I put in seats, a sun roof, an axle, and some wheels. Our teacher is Ms Beaupre. She has a lot of fun things for us to do. Tomorrow we're going on a field trip to the NAC. We're going to go see an orchestra. The NAC has a lot of pictures and we're going to have snack there. We're only allowed to bring one snack or two. We have learnt about levers. This time our subject is ramps. For science we're learning about pulleys. We have a pulley up at the front of the class. We put pennies in it and we bring them up with the string. The things that we put it together with are a string, a reel with no yarn on it, a toothpick about half of a ruler size...until the 15, and two magnets. We built our own pulleys in a book. We needed a paperclip, a piece of string and a plastic clothespin. We learnt alot about pulleys. We thought of some ideas of ramps. That's all. Carter signing out.

How this Year is by Carter

Today is the last day of ball hockey. I'm going to have a new baby brother or sister soon. I just got home from my dad's house today. Ball hockey was really fun. We played dodge ball for half the time but first we played ball hockey. It was a really good time at my dad's. My big brother Jordan went home but I still had fun with my little brother Clark. Clark is 3 years old and he can't quite talk yet but he is still really fun. I have a gameboy and 3 games for it. I have a Simpsons game and a Meet The Robinsons game and a Tony Hawks Underground 2 game. I have a dog named Tucker and he is 2. I have a second dad named Tony and he is really fun too. Sylvie is my second mom and she really loves me. I have a Lightening McQueen night light and my baby brother or sister will be really fun...I hope.

A weekend @ Daddy's

Daddy hasn't posted to my blog since who knows when. So I decided to nag him a little and make him post something.

This weekend at Daddy's is like many other weekends. Spending some time playing, watching some TV, generally behaving pretty well.

Yesterday we went to the Y for my floor hockey. I always say I don't want to go, in fact I always raise a huge fuss about going, but once I get there I have a bunch of fun and don't want to leave after. Daddy and Clark dropped my at floor hockey then they went for a swim. Clark is lucky, he got to swim two days in a row. We went swimming on Friday night too. We swam around in the big pool for a while, then we ditched Daddy and went in the little kid pool.

Today we went to Walmart for a bit and then came home. Now we are busy watching Star Wars which I'm thinking is pretty cool!

Soon, it will be time to go back to Mommy's again.

I'm getting along with Clark pretty good these days, I'm starting to be more patient with my little brother. He and I play together really well. I think this will be good for when my new little brother or sister shows up in a few more weeks.
