What a weekend!

Hey everybody!

I've had quite a weekend with Daddy and everybody at his house.

Friday night was pretty quiet. We relaxed and I got to play with Jordan for a while. Saturday was fun too. I got to play at home for quite a long time. We played inside because it was so cold outside. Later in the afternoon, it was time to start packing up for my first beaver sleep over. Sylvie and I headed off after dinner. We went skating and watched Ant Bully and played lots of games. I was up until 11 o'clock! That's pretty late. I also got to sleep in my Bob the Builder bed which was really fun. I always like sleeping in there. We woke up bright and early at 7 o'clock this morning and I was in a pretty good mood until it was time to go home. I think I lost one of my Hot Wheel mitts too. Bummer. I was pretty tired and grumpy all day at Daddy's. He tried to get me to take a nap, but there was nothing doing. I wasn't having anything to do with that. I'm absolutely convinced that we're not allowed to sleep during the day. Daddy thinks I'm cuckoo. Instead of making a bunch of noise and waking everybody up, Daddy decided we should just get going instead. We headed out for Giant Tiger to get a birthday present for Alex's party. When we got to Giant Tiger, Daddy had no wallet, so we had to go all the way home, get the wallet and then go back to Giant Tiger. I hope Alex likes the car race track that we got him. I really like playing with mine sometimes. After that, we went to MEC. We looked at stuff for me and Clark but Daddy decided not to buy anything. He says he has no money. Then we went to look at a boat store, but it was closed. Daddy says they have the bean bag mount for his GPS there. I guess he's going to need that, because the thing he has fell off the window today. D'oh! After that, we headed for the Dollar Store to get a gift bag and card for Alex's gift and then Daddy dropped me off at the bowling alley for the party. It was rock'n'bowl day. Daddy was a little uncomfortable leaving me there, but I was fine.

That was basically my weekend. Have a good week.

Winter

Wow there haven't been any posts lately! Guess it's about time to add one. The big news is that we finally have winter!! It arrived Monday morning (after a completely green weekend) with a ton of snow and boy it's been cold this week. So I've been taking the bus to and from school all week. It's too cold to walk. We've spent a bunch of time just playing at home this week. I'm addicted to my Tonka games on the computer. I would play them all day and all night if I could. I'm getting really good at using the computer too. I like the PBS website and TVO websites too.

School has been good this week. I got a new library book on Monday and have been doing lots of crafts. One day I even brought home a grocery list that I wrote all my myself. WOW! I've been working at home too and am learning to put my letter sounds together and read short words. It's a bit tough but it's so cool when I read something all by myself.

Since it was so cold on Tuesday and Tony was off he drove us to swimming lessons. And stayed to watch. I'm doing great! I get a private lesson (lucky me!) so have to work hard but I'm getting better and better every week. And this week I got a treat for the snack machine because I showed my instructor how I can do my bobs...I just don't like too. I don't like to close my eyes when I put my head under so then the chlorine burns my eyes and I don't want to do it anymore. Silly me! Next week we're going to bring my goggles and see if this instructor lets me wear them.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Cosmic! So much fun!! Tony drove us over on his lunch and came to pick us up after work since it was so cold to wait for the bus. We played for such a long time in the tunnels that mommy and me were both exhausted. That's hard work! I played a bunch of games and won a bunch of cool stuff too. Yahoo!

Back to School

Holidays are over and today it's back to school.

We had a busy evening yesterday. When I got to mommy's I wanted to open all the stuff we brought home from the Soo but first mommy said we had to take down the Christmas tree, all the decorations and clean a bit before we got out all the new stuff. Tony came over and helped out until I got bored and then I was showing him the PBS website. It's so neat! Then we went to his house for dinner. I was playing a moterbike game on PS2 and I am getting so good. I know how to do tricks now and everything. Liz came to play too. I ate a bunch of Portuguese bun for dinner and then we had fortune cookies for dessert. My fortune was so me..."Your mind is creative, original and alert". That could not describe me better! Neat!!

I didn't sleep very well last night. I woke up at 3am and thought it was morning, then crawled into bed with mommy and tossed and turned and coughed the rest of the night. But we woke up to a surprise this morning...snow!! By the time we went to the bus stop it was raining and the snow is really wet but it's still here...for now!

My Weekend

Well... it was a pretty quick weekend at Daddy's house.

I got there Saturday because I didn't get home until too late on Friday to go to Daddy's house. Daddy and I stopped and did some shopping on the way home so we didn't get there until almost lunch time. We had fun though.

Saturday afternoon was pretty quiet. We played a little big and built my Megabloks pirate ship that I got for Christmas. Daddy and I had a long talk too and we decided maybe I should get some counselling to I can deal better with my family at Daddy's house. I'm a little jealous of my little brother getting more attention than me from everybody. I sure hope Mommy never has another baby or I'll just stay in my room forever.

Sunday we had a quiet morning and then after lunch Daddy and I went to the War Museum. I really like the big trucks and tanks and planes, but I don't like the noise in some sections. It kinda scared me. I'm pretty glad we won't have to go back for a while. After that, Daddy and I did a quick geocache and then we went to Mommy's house to drop me off.

New Years trip

Boy it's been a long time since the last update! We're back from our New Years trip to Sault Ste Marie. I had so much fun! We left on Friday January 29th and were gone for one whole week. But it sure went by fast. This time we got to take the plane!! It sure was fun! We got to take two planes...one to Toronto and then a small little prop plane to the Soo. I had to chew gum on the landing because it hurt my ears but during the take off I was okay. When we left Ottawa there was snow but when we got to the Soo they had no snow. Can you believe it?! We only had snow for about one day when I was there. Crazy eh?!

Thanks so much to everyone for a great holiday and for all the presents. Once again both mommy and I were spoiled rotten. I got lots of cool clothes and pj's with Lightening McQueen and Thomas. I got lots of Lightening McQueen stuff like posters, and the coolest game set. Wow...I just got so much stuff! And mommy got the bar to hook up my bike to hers so no more bike trailer. Hopefully spring comes soon so we can try it out!

I had a great week visiting with everyone. Emma and I played great together and had so much fun! We did lots of touring around the city too. We went out to Auntie Jodie's one day to play with my favorite silly dogs and went for a walk in the snow and built a snowman and a snow castle on the beach. That was fun! And we went to see the model train display twice. One morning we spent with grandpa going to the Bushplane Museum and then bringing lunch to Auntie Jodie at her office. We went to see Charlotte's Web with Auntie Kim, Uncle Mike, Brittany and Judy and we went to Emma's house to play for a bit. We had dinner at great Grandma Dukes one night and I spent the whole time in the basement playing with Emma. I had so much fun! And I spent lots of time just hanging out and playing with grandma, grandpa and Papa. We had a fun time celebrating New Years in Papa's garage. We had noisemakers, hats and sparklers. So much fun!
