Today I was up bright and early at 6am. Once again I went to cuddle with mommy during the night so she could rub my back and help my cough. Boy it's a bad one. I haven't had my normal voice in two days. Yikes. We played around home for awhile and then headed out to the Science and Tech Museum right for 9am to join the March break madness.
The museum was empty!! I got to play with all my favorite thing (the little car, the train) and I even got to design and make my own hockey mask. I want to bring it to school to show my friends. But when we were playing the museum started to get busier and busier and by the time we got to the tunnels there was a big lineup for them. So we went to watch a show on air in the theatre (it was really cool) and by the time we were there for two hours the line up to get in to the museum was out the doors. Crazy!! But we had a great morning playing and good thing we got there at 9. On the way home we stopped at the dollar store and I got a treat. A pack of construction trucks. They're so cool!!
Now we're home for the afternoon to do some laundry and play some more.

March Break
What a rainy way to start March Break. So much for playing outside this week.
Mommy and I are having some good times together though. I got home last night and we just played Geotrax and relaxed for the evening. We had a good dinner (fries and chicken nuggets) and hung out. I was in bed at 7 but I have such a bad hacking cough that I was up a lot of the night. I came to cuddle in mommy's bed but then just tossed and turned. Today I'm talking all funny and I keep coughing but it doesn't clear my voice. Yuck!
This morning I was up right when the alarm would have gone off (6:15)...I'm crazy! We relaxed for awhile and then went over to the birthday party at the library. They had a special birthday themed storytime and a movie and then we each got a little cupcake to decorate with icing and sprinkles and then I ate the whole thing. Boy was it yummy! We stayed at the library afterwards to pick out and read some books, stopped at the grocery store and then made our way home in the pouring rain. Good thing we brought my umbrella. Bad news was I tripped crossing the street and my pants were soaked! I should have worn my splash pants I think.
This afternoon we're just hanging around home. We made some blueberry muffins (I'm great at mixing and helping to measure) and I'm going to do some crafts. I think Tony is coming over for dinner tonight.
Hopefully it doesn't rain all week.

Snow day
It's a snow day but there is no snow!! When I was in the van with daddy this morning we heard that the school busses were cancelled...but their was no snow, rain, ice or anything. How odd.
So mommy and I hung out for a bit and played and then we headed over to the Children's Museum. Might as well make the best of our day! We had such a GREAT time!! I spent almost one whole hour just in the Clifford exhibit. It was so much fun. They have a boat with a map of the island, a cafe, and a huge Clifford. We played lots more in the other parts of the museum. We were there for 3 hours. Wow! By the time we left there it had started to rain and everything is pretty icy out now. I was slipping all over the place walking up the path from the bus. So silly.
I think this afternoon we'll just watch some movies. We have The Little Mermaid from the library. And tonight we're ordering Swiss Chalet...yum! I love their ribs and fries.

Busy week
We're having such a busy week! We'll start back on Monday. Mommy made a big mistake. We got to the workshop and it wasn't there. Julie told us it was at the Industrial location. Silly mommy...must have flushed her brain down the toilet again. haha So we ended up bussing there and back for nothing. At least it was a nice day out. So we had some time to do the laundry and then Tony picked us up and we went to his house for dinner. I played car game, watched some tv and drew some pictures and practised writing my name. It was a good evening.
Yesterday was another very busy day. School was good. I had a mishap getting off the bus when I got home though...I tripped pretty good on a crack in the sidewalk and scared myself...but I didn't get hurt. We had some lunch and then it was off to swimming lessons. We spent most of the lesson in the deep end again and it was GREAT! I was doing so well. I did my "pencil" arms with my face right in the water for 5 seconds. I'm getting so confident! Afterwards we had to rush home, get out of my snowpants, grab a snack and meet Tony to head to the circus! That's right another circus!! This one was at the Civic Centre and it was the Garden Brothers Circus. It seems as if everyone else in the city had free passes too though because the line up was so long! We waited for one whole hour in line. Then when we finally got in we were sitting way at the top. Even though the show was kind of short and not near as good as the Ringling Circus we saw last year I still had fun. The horses and elephants were my favorite. And the silly clown dog. They were trying to do one act with ponies and the one pony got out of the ring and was running around and no one could catch him...that was pretty funny. And then one of the trapese guys took a big fall right on his face...must have hurt. But the elephants were so neat!
Afterwards it took us so long to get out of the parking lot and I was starving. So we stopped and had McDonald's on the way home. So I didn't get to bed till very late (8:15pm)...yikes!

We made a Humpty Dumpty page for our nursery rhyme book and we had a supply teacher for French. On the way home on the bus I sat with Omar and he was hitting me. That's not nice. When I got home we decided to go to Mr Sub for lunch. Two days in a row I get go out to eat...that's pretty lucky! So mommy and me shared a sub and I had a cookie. Yum!
That's all for now. It's off to daddy's house later this afternoon for the evening.

Sunny days
We're having a great start to our week. Last night I got back to mommy's a little bit later since I was having so much fun walking around down by the river and watching the men blast the ice. But when I got home I had a quick snack and then we were off with Tony to go down to the canal. It was such a beautiful day!! So sunny!! Got on our skates and even though the ice was a bit slushy we had a great time. I'm getting so good! And to think that I've only been out three times this year. Tony was teaching me to take monster steps and push out and that seemed to help a lot. I was very balanced and just having so much fun. So we skated until the sun set and then the wind picked up and it started to get cold. So we had a Beavertail and then headed home. By the time I had some real dinner, read stories and got ready for bed it was a bit past my bedtime but that is okay. We had a good evening.
During the night I decided to bring a blanket and a pillow and crawl up on the loveseat in mommy's room. I think it was warmer in there. This morning I was up and going at 6am and then we were off to school. What a great morning!! I got to do some work on my letter sounds with mom, made a three bags (from Baa Baa Black Sheep) craft and painted a brick wall for our Humpty Dumpty craft. I had a bit on a incident with Megan today...but after some tears we worked it out and all was good again.
We have a busy afternoon ahead. We're off to a workshop at big playgroup in a bit, then we have to do some laundry and tonight we're going to Tony's for dinner. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine!

Weekend at Daddy's
It's early Sunday morning still. I'm getting to be such a big boy. I got up this morning all by myself, went to the washroom and turned on the TV. I just let Daddy and Sylvie and Clark sleep. I'm so good!
What did we do yesterday? It was pretty fun! We spent a good part of the morning watching TV and relaxing. I like that sometimes. Around lunch time we decided it was time to go out treasure hunting. We ventured to Cumberland first. We decided we'd do a couple of the Canadian Northern series that we hadn't done with GP and Bobute. It was pretty fun. It was a good walk, but we found the first one right by a tree. I got to bring home another dinosaur. The other one was out in Wendover, by an old train bridge. It was kind cool too. I got to bring home a gold fish key chain from that one and Daddy got a dolphin key chain. We decided since we were so close to Alfred that we would go and get fries from a chip stand. They were yummy!! I fell asleep in the van on the way home and had a nice little nap. It was pretty good. When I woke up we played outside for a little bit and tried to chip some of the ice out of the driveway. We played around home some more, had some dinner, then Daddy and I had movie night. We watched Dinosaur! I really liked it. I'm getting much better at watching full length movies. Then I went to be really good like I almost always do.
Today it's going to be more of the same stuff. We're gonna play outside for a while, then after lunch we're going to head to Ottawa for some treasure hunting. We need to drop off Nemo the Travel Bug and Daddy said they are blasting the Rideau River today too. Then it'll be back to Mommy's.

Stomach Bug
Yup I've got a stomach bug. Yucky!! I was wondering if maybe it's a caterpillar or spider or what...either way it's pretty gross. I think I got it from Jordan at school because he was complaining he felt sick on Monday. Either way I was up most of the night on Tuesday and then was vomitting all day yesterday. I didn't move off the couch all day long. Just stayed cuddled up. Tony stopped in with Timbits in the afternoon but I didn't want any and instead just rolled over and fell asleep for a few hours. By last night I was feeling a bit better and was willing to eat some freezies. But when I was having my bath everything ached. I slept a bit better last night and was only up once or twice and this morning I woke up with just a headache left.
But today I've been up playing and now it's noon and I feel GREAT again! Yahoo! It'll be back to school tomorrow. This morning we took my wagon and dropped some books off at the library and picked up a few movies to watch and then stopped to get some groceries. I helped mommy put together all the ingredients for spaghetti sauce and now it just has to cook all afternoon and then we'll have a yummy pasta dinner.
That's all for today. No playgroup today just in case I'm still contagious...just lots of playing and we'll probably watch the ending of the Polar Express. Fun!
