It's April!

A new month already. Yesterday I wanted to stay another night at daddy's house but mommy wanted me home. I was pretty happy to be home too. We played construction trucks for quite awhile and then took my wagon over to drop off some library books and go to the grocery store. We picked up some drinks and some fruits and then got to the cash to realise mommy left her bank card at home. So we had to walk all the way back home to get it and go all the way back. We got there just in time...the store was closing. Oh my goodness. I stayed up a bit later last night due to the time change and mommy didn't put me to bed until 8pm. We just had a nice evening together.

This morning I actually slept in till 6:30. Yahoo! We took the wagon to school this morning and boy was it a good day at school. We're talking about spring time now. One of the older classes came in with a container full of real life worms they are growing. Cool or what?? I learned that worms have FIVE hearts. Can you believe it?? And we saw one of the worm cacoons. That was pretty cool. We have to save our apple cores and peels from our snacks to feed the worms. For craft I made a really neat picture with a person with a big umbrella and then painted on rain drops. They're very nice. I think that's about it. We stopped on the way home at the library to pick up some books.

It's kind of a dreary, rainy afternoon out there so we've been spending it at home. We had craft time and I painted a whole bunch of beautiful Easter eggs. I used real eggs and egg die and stickers. Boy they're going to look great when they dry. And we found the bowl of eggs we had saved from last year.
