Great day

Boy what a great day I am having!

Yesterday afternoon we were so lazy. I helped mommy do some laundry, we played and mommy knit a blanket for my car. I went to bed great but then was up half the night tossing and turning and coughing. We finally got out of bed about 5:30am because I just couldn't get comfortable. Today my cough is just as bad but add to it a very snotty nose. How can that much snot be stuck in my nose?? I think it's a mystery!

But today has been great! We spent the morning relaxing and got some bread going in the bread machine (but it didn't turn out good at all) and then Tony came over with a sprinkle donut for me. Yum! Then we headed out to the Aviation Museum. We got there shortly after it opened at 10 and it was not busy. I made a cool little parachute guy, showed Tony around the whole museum and got to play in the helicopter studio. What fun! When we left there I was pretty hungry so we went to this neat little burger place called "The Works". They served me my chocolate milk in a measuring cup! And mommy and I shared a huge burger and fries. Yum! I had ice cream for dessert but it made me cough so much that I had to stop eating it.

From there we went out to Proulx Farm to the sugar bush. It was pretty cold out today though with windchills of -11 so not exactly the perfect day for the sugar bush but it was fun. They had a barn with some animals to pet. They had the cutest little pony and goats that I wanted to bring home. Then we went on a tractor wagon ride out to where they make the maple syrup and along they way they had a bunch of monsters painted on tree trunks. The syrup making operation isn't that big there but we bought some more maple syrup and looked around and then got a wagon ride back. They had the coolest slide there to go down...that was fun!

So now we're home after our busy day. We might take a walk over to the library to pick up some books that are waiting for us but then it will be a quiet night. I'm sure tomorrow will be another busy day!
