More fun times

What another great couple of days I have had. Tuesday continued to be great. I had a very fun swimming lesson where we spent the whole time in the deep end again! I like it there. I'm really great at doing back floats now and sticking both my ears in the water but I'm still a little iffy about dunking my whole head under. It will come. I think I just like playing with my friends the best. After swimming we stopped at Pet Smart to get all the supplies for a fish. I picked out a little bowl, some very colorful rocks and a nice green spiky plant. I was so excited telling the person working there that I was going to be a very responsible pet owner. So he looked around and found some pamphlets on taking care of fish for me to have. Cool!

When we got home Tony picked us up and off we went to the Multicultural Dinner at my school. Finn, Ikraam and Amalie were there so I had some friends to say hi to. Boy was it busy with so much food! Mommies chicken and ribs went very quickly. All I wanted to eat was pita and tortilla...silly me. We watched the choir sing (Finn's sister was in it) and then watched the fashion show (Finn was in that). It was pretty fun! And I got to met one of Mrs Hamilton's daughters. Oh and I won a 30 dollar gift certificate to Oh Basil (a restaurant at Elmvale) so I can take mommy and Tony out for dinner on another night. Fun! After dinner it was late but we went to hand in my colouring contest at Little Critters and I got to pick out my own very first pet. Goldie is my goldfish. He is orange and swims around like crazy. I've been taking very good care of him with feeding him once a day and checking on him all the time. I even came got mommy all in a panic when she was in the shower to tell her that Goldie moved. And I read him stories. He's pretty special!

Yesterday was another great day. School was fun and busy. We went to the gym to get our exercise and then to the library to see a real author. He read us a bunch of his stories about summer. And we got to draw our own page for our fairy tale book. Mommy was there to pick me up so we walked home together. That was fun! I like it when mommy comes to pick me up. In the afternoon we went over to the Science and Tech Museum to play. The tunnels were very busy with school groups and so was the snowmachine but the rest of the museum was nice and quiet. When we got home we got my soccer ball and went to play in the yard. It's such great weather! And boy am I ever getting good at soccer! Then it was off to daddy's house for the evening.

Today has been another good day. I took the bus home from school today though...but that is okay. I sat with the new boy Michael and he wasn't very nice to me so I won't sit with him anymore. But I didn't fight with him...I just ignored him. This afternoon we pumped up the tires in the bikes and bike trailer and we zoomed over to big playgroup! It was so quiet there and a lot of fun. I got to decorate a horse and play with a lot of tractors.
